Dad's Hibiscus (Short Film)
Undergrad thesis film done at School of Visual Arts. I was responsible for all of the design, BG painting, rough animation, most of the clean-ups, some of the coloring, and a huge part of the voice acting. The story follows 10-year-old Sammie who tries to make the sun stay in the sky in order to save the flower that only lives for one day. The film was selected for 25 film festivals including Los Angeles Animation Festival, Animaze, TIAF, Animate, Montreal International Animation Film Festival, DYTIATKO International Children's Media Festival, and Flint Youth Film Festival.
